Meet our U12AAA Coach Graham Loyst for 25/26
Welcome Graham to our North Bay Trappers Coaching Lineup!

Graham was born and raised in North Bay. In his playing days, he came through the North Bay Minor Hockey system, and played AAA with the North Bay Athletics in Bantam and the North Bay Trappers U18AAA team, followed by 2 seasons with the Scollard Hall Bears.

Graham went on to pursue his post-secondary education in Ottawa, ON where he conferred an undergraduate degree in Law at Carleton University followed by a Graduate Certificate in Sport Business Management at Algonquin College.

While attending school, Graham played 4 years of Junior hockey in the EOJHL for the Winchester Hawks, where he captained the team for 2 of those seasons, leading them to their first Rideau-St. Lawrence Championship.

After his playing days, Graham immediately got involved in coaching with the Kanata Blazers Association. He later worked as an assistant coach for 2 seasons with the Cumberland Grads U18AAA program, and then moved on to Coach the Myers Automotive (formerly Ottawa Sens) U15AAA team.

Graham moved home to North Bay where he now works at Canadore College as the Sports Facility Supervisor, and serves as President of the North Bay Ball Hockey League. Graham is still involved with the EOJHL, where he serves as the Director of Player Safety and Discipline for the league.

Graham is beyond excited to be back coaching and looks forward to a season of growth and success for the U12AAA Trappers.
